Frequently Asked Questions
Almost all boat charters are limited to 13 passengers. Some boat rental companies have a lower maximum. For larger parties we can arrange multiple Captains and boats.
The Captain is NOT part of the total.

YES! If renting a boat, and hiring a captain, it legally has to be 2 separate transactions.
YES. It is customary and appreciated to tip your Captain. Also please bring small bills to tip dock hands at restaurants and gas docks (normally $5 or $10 per dock hand, and 10% to 15% at gas docks).
If it is lightning and storming the day of your trip, we will try our best to reschedule the time and/or day of your trip. If that cannot be accomplished, we will refund the Captains deposit. If it is only raining, with no lightning, we will still go out.
