Derek Marlin is a fishing guide and the owner of Firehouse Bowfishing. Derek has been a firefighter for 16 years and is currently working as a Company Officer at the Battlefield Fire Protection District. Captain Marlin or as we like to call him Captain Fish is a licensed Captain with the United States Coast Guard and holds a great amount of knowledge operating boats on the Missouri waterways. While at the fire department, he is a member of the swift water rescue team regularly in charge of driving the rescue boat. He has also worked 8 years with the Showboat Branson Belle in Branson, Missouri holding positions such as medic, engineer, and even having the privilege of getting to drive the behemoth of a vessel every now and then.
